•Manage and monitor internet connectivity and network performance across the institute •Configure, maintain, and update firewall systems to ensure network security. •Implement and enforce cybersecurity policies and best practices. • Monitor network traffic and detect/respond to suspicious activities or security breaches. • Configure and manage VPNs, proxies, and secure access systems • Perform regular vulnerability assessments and risk analysis. • Maintain antivirus, endpoint security, and intrusion detection/prevention systems • Ensure data protection through backups and disaster recovery planning\\r\\n• Troubleshoot network, firewall, and security-related issues • Maintain logs, reports, and documentation related to network and security operations •Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and government/organizational guidelines.\\r\\n• Provide technical support and guidance on security-related matters

Bachelor of Engineering or technology in field of computer science/Information Technology from a recognized University or equivalent with 3 years of research experience OR M.Tech. in field of computer science/Information Technology.

• Network infrastructure & firewall management experience • Strong networking & security fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, VLANs) • Hands-on with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos) • Knowledge of IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint & network security tools• Familiar with ISO 27001 and IT security policies • Linux/Unix & Windows server experience • Backup, disaster recovery & web security (SSL/TLS) knowledge • Relevant certifications (CEH, CISSP, Security+, CCNA Security) • Understanding of cyber laws & data privacy • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills
